To increase technical capacity of membership through education and support.

To become active in the legislative process of the District of Columbia as it pertains to membership interests.

To stimulate greater participation by Latino, minority, and  immigrant owned businesses in D.C. government contracting and all aspects of the business life of our city and region.

To maintain and raise funds for the programs of the DCHCA, including, but not limited to, education, career development, apprenticeship programs, employment counseling, family and individual support services, and any multicultural program components.

To promote & advocate for increased business opportunities for membership in public and private sector projects.

To provide technical workshops, political & networking events, and social & charitable activities such as legislative breakfasts, seminars, educational sessions, family outings, fundraisers, and banquets.

To educate the community, industry and the public at large concerning vocational education, its use and its application to workforce development and to promote vocational education for the benefit of government, industry and the public at large.

To support and facilitate vocational educational activities and public service functions of a Charter School, or any successor entity by any lawful act(s) or activities in which a non-profit corporation in the District of Columbia may be engaged under the District of Columbia Nonprofit Corporation Act, and that may qualify it as an organization described in§ 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended from time to time.
